Finishing the Division 1 League With A Bang/ Gregarious Deserved Champs
The Flameboys (run by the Big Bangs) won their last 5 games of the league to finish 11-3 and in sole possession of 4th place out of 15 teams. It was a tough journey as they battled through injuries, exams, work, crappy refs, traffic, and humid weather to finish respectably. They started off slowly going 1-2 in the 1st 3 games, won 5 in a row, lost a tough one, and then finished off strong with another 5 wins in …

In March of this year, the Big Bangs organized an under-17 basketball league.
All the participants were kids who were no older than juniors in high school. These kids were desperate for a tournament which wasn’t being dominated by seniors, college students and adults (sadly that includes the Big Bangs). It was no fun for them to register in a tournament just to lose every game by 50 points or more. These kids wanted fair and even competition and the Big Bangs gave it to them.
8 teams participated in a season, …

On Saturday 1st May, the Big Bang Ballers – Australia held a charity basketball tournament at Canberra Boys Grammar School.
Attended by 8 teams, players from around the city came together to fight out a long, tough day of basketball for a prize of $400.
Thanks to the participation of almost 80 players, we raised $1,000 from the day, all of which will be funding our programs here in Australia.
Congratulations to Stevedom, our 1st men’s champs!
Their name should sound familiar – the same team (with girls, of course) took out the 1st …

The Big Bangs France launched their activities in April 2010. After taking benefits from a tournament organized in the Alps, we sponsored two teams, boys and girls, in the inter-uni annual tournament. Great success!
The IEP boys and girls teams won their respective tournament in Strasbourg, France. The teams, led by Cesar and Domi, both member of French board, gave their maximum to beat teams like Paris, Lyon or Lille.
In spite of a difficult draw, the boys did a terrific come back to win, in a breathtaking final game, the championship …
