Big Bangs are Canberra Classic B Champs!
Congratulations to Coach Don and the Big Bangs/Sudanese All-Stars for taking out the Canberra Classic B Trophy on the 24th of January, 2010!
Dominating their opponents throughout the 3-day tournament, the team was joined in the semi-finals by another Big Bangs team, who unfortunately were beaten by eventual finalists, the CPL Diesel.
Playing unselfish team basketball and running at every opportunity, the new-look side came away with a well-deserved win after an undefeated tournament.
Our sincere thanks to all of the teams, officials and friends involved. We’re looking forward to next year’s tournament!
Special mention to the Canberra Player’s League, which fielded 6 teams and came away with 3 championships across all divisions of the annual Tournament!

That was a great final. Both of us toughed it out with the CPL Diesel up against the Big Bang All Stars. But the B*B All Stars never looked like losing. Even when we put on a run, you guys would respond. Was a pleasure playing against you guys, and if I have to lose in a final, I’m glad it’s to my brothers in the CPL, the Big Bang Ballers. Congrats!
