Big Bang Philippines extended Christmas Party at Bantay Bata on Jan 23.

Another rainy saturday in Iligan City but not an ordinary one because this day all Big Bangs advocates are going to hold an extended Christmas party to the children of Bantay Bata. The small shelter, the people around them, the daily routines that were not gonna change. Nothing’s really gonna changed except for one. It is the HOPE that one day they will be in the arm of the people they will call their FAMILY. The heavy rain wasn’t able to stop the crew in getting there.

We have prepared gifts for the ten (10) children, a little snack and a special presentation given by the crew that could make them groove a bit. Simple, yet not expensive but enough to bring out their precious smile. The experience was short. Yet, to some, it was just an ordinary act of giving. But to us, it is a big leap that will remind those children that amidst the hardships in life, there will be people who are willing to reach out on them and they can somehow call it their own.
