This is it…? Hell no!
What is going on in Pakistan? Julien, the B*B country representative is leaving for good. But does it mean it is the end of the story for the Big Bangs over there? Of course not!
It sometimes is so easy and so simple to make things move, to bring people together, to let your friends know about how great one’s capacity to change is… Except a little time and motivation, it doesn’t cost a thing.
That is what we tried to do in Pakistan, in Islamabad in particular. …

F6 sport complex tournament…
Ballers from all over the world, once again Islamabad showed you how dedicated to the beautiful game it is.
The F6 sports complex basketball tournament took place in the center of Islamabad throughout last week. Ok, I have been waiting for that tournament for a year and I couldn’t believe it when my teammates told me it was actually happening! However, even though it took a year, I have to admit that it was well organized. Lots of people from different parts of Islamabad and its outskirts. A …

Not a day goes by that I am not filled with pride at the work the Big Bangs continue to do around the world.
From Julien going head to head with the politics of basketball in Pakistan, breaking down social barriers and standing up for everyone’s right to play the game they love, all the way to the Philippines, where a an entirely new family of Big Bangs is nurturing kids and sponsoring a championship team, whose charity work is only just beginning. “One … two… three… BIG BANGS ! ! !” all at the same time, shouting like one single man. All brought together thanks to Basketball and their love of the game. Today, the Pakistan Big Bangs team didn’t get any trophies but it surely achieved to bring people together, in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

Security issues may prevent us from organizing huge kick ass advertised events but it won’t detract us from spreading basketball around!
On July 17th, for the World Big Bang day , nothing too fancy… just a good and intense game with my Islamabadi fellow ballers. …

July 17th was the day…

5pm, US Embassy, 45 celcius degrees, 7 aside. The rule is simple, best of 5 games, game to 15, ones and twos. Once everything was set up, it was time to start and launch the …

Basketball in Islamabad, the Big Bangs breaking boundaries…
The B*B is all about Basketball. Basic idea but some might tend to forget it.
No politics, no religion, no boundaries… When we first created the B*B in Bangladesh we committed not to give up and to proudly stand against all kind of unjustified limits.
Thinking on your own, accepting the difference, forgiving the past to build a better future, being a man or a woman who admits that he/she might be wrong, giving a chance to make things happen… those are our motivations, those …

Basketball in Islamabad is not dead… !
September 2008, I just arrive in Pakistan. Islamabad is so quiet, nobody in the street during the day. Everyone outside during the night. Damn! Where am I? I am not used to the typical Ibiza way of living… I check out the basketball courts… nobody… oh boy, I forgot it was Ramadan!
October 2008, people are out again… yeah baby, sounds like bball is getting started! There is this new court in F6. As the usual foreigner, I got scammed with the entry fees. But it …
